Music is something that everyone should be able to enjoy. Many don’t realize the power of a good hi-fi system and its ability to make you fall in love with a track all over again. I remember experiencing my first truly high-end system and was blown away by the scale, detail, and impact of the music. Therefore, I want to share my love for hi-fi with you and lay out my experience as a young audio enthusiast. I started this website for those getting into hi-fi, and who want to understand what matters, what doesn’t and how each component in a system works together.
I have spent hundreds of hours listening to equipment, watching videos and reading articles, and I try my best to not be sucked into the pitfalls of assuming that one opinion is the only opinion. Such an important part of high-end audio is keeping an open mind, because this allows you to discover new things that lead to a much greater result than you ever thought possible. It is important to find sources you trust and compare across sources, but also take everything with a grain of salt, because audio in a lot of ways is very personal and subjective. I try my best to take the subjectivity out of it and provide the most honest and accurate advice possible. I am continuing to listen, learn, and improve my ability to pick out the best products, and as I gain more knowledge, I will share it with you.
